Concerned about how to dry out/preserve your historic building after flooding? Or whether or not a treasured family heirloom may be saved? Historic building materials – woodwork, plaster and lath - may often be dried and saved. Historic plaster is made with lime, which is mold and mildew-resistant, and often survives flooding – unlike drywall. Numerous resources are posted on our website for treating post-flood historic buildings: https://www.co.hunterdon.nj.us/depts/c&h/DisasterRecoveryHistoricBuildings.html   Questions?
