Instructor: Debra Reed, Park Naturalist

Class size: 10 children (siblings welcome, if registered) 

Learn, create, play games, and explore! Our popular nature clubs will introduce your child to many exciting nature topics. Naturalist Debra Reed will guide the children during hikes as they discover the beautiful field, forest, and pond habitats at Echo Hill. Other fun hands-on activities include science experiments, games, and craft projects. The children will be able to observe the surprising changes in nature from week to week as we progress through the season. Through our explorations, children will also improve their attention to detail as we observe the colors, shapes, textures, and sounds of the natural world. 

Please be sure to dress your child for the outdoors so they will be able to enjoy these activities. We strongly recommend old clothes and sneakers/boots that can get dirty.  

Session A: Time: 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM

Ages: 3 to 5 years (children must be accompanied by an adult)

Session B: Time: 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM

Ages: 3 to 5 years (children must be accompanied by an adult)

Session C: Time: 4:00 PM to 5:15 PM

Ages: kindergarten through 2nd grade (children must be accompanied by an adult)
