Division of Child Protection & Permanency
Child Protection & Permanency (CP&P) is New Jersey's child protection and child welfare agency. Child Abuse Hotline (State Central Registry) receives all reports of child abuse and neglect 24/7. Reports requiring a field response are forwarded to the CP&P Local Office which investigates.

Family Crisis Intervention Unit
FCIU is an immediate intervention and stabilization for juveniles (12-17) and their families who are experiencing an ongoing crisis (family conflict, truancy, runaway behavior or a threat to their physical safety of wellbeing). Services are available 24/7.
