Hunterdon County residents should feel free to report any potholes they encountered on county roads only to the Hunterdon County Department of Public Works, Division of Roads and Bridges.
When reporting potholes on county roads only contact the Hunterdon County Department of Public Works, Division of Roads and Bridges at 908-788-1178 or via email: roads@co.hunterdon.nj.us .
Please be prepared to provide the following information.
- Your name and phone number.
- Township where the pothole is located.
- The county route number and or name.
- Location or road name, mile marker, distinctive landmarks, etc.
Please be as exact as possible for location.
If the potholes are located on a municipal road, residents must notify that particular Municipal Road Department.
If it is a State road, please contact the New Jersey Department of Transportation at 732-308-4086 (Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm) or 609-538-6093 during non-business hours and on the weekends.
