Veterans Recognition Program

Hunterdon County Veteran Medal We Shall Never ForgetThe Hunterdon County Veterans Recognition Medal was commissioned by the Board of County Commissioners in 2002. The design for the medal was created by John N Hatzikalfas of Team Graphics, located in Flemington NJ. Mr. Hatzikalfas is a Hunterdon County resident and a Vietnam War Veteran.

Questions about the County's Veterans Recognition Program should be directed to the County's Veterans Service Officer Rich Booth at 908-788-1361.

The Board of County Commissioners, Elected Officials, and the citizens of Hunterdon County gratefully acknowledge your personal sacrifice in the protection of our freedom. And, as is appropriately emblazoned on the medal "We Shall Never Forget".

The 2023 Veterans Recognition Medal Ceremony was once again held on Veteran's Day, November 11th, and live-streamed from the Assembly Room at Building #1 at Rt. 12 County Complex.  You can view the live stream by clicking here.
