County Animal Response Team (CART)

CART Brochure (PDF) Opens in new windowCART is involves a wide variety of people interested in helping animals in disasters. Hunterdon CART was formed in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina. This team is deployed with helping animals that are affected by emergencies, such as floods, forest fires or terrorist attacks.

The team operates under the direction of New Jersey Department of Agriculture's Division of Animal Health and the Hunterdon County Division of Emergency Management.
