Black Fly (Gnat) Survey

Do you have problems with Black Flies / Gnats? Residents from Hunterdon County have informed the health division that Black Flygnats (also known as black flies) have become a problem some areas of the county. The Hunterdon County Division of Public Health is collecting information on locations in the county where these insects are most problematic. Please assist us by completing the Black Fly (Gnat) Survey.

This is a passive survey and data collected will be used to generate maps showing the intensity of black fly problems in the county. If you would like to discuss black biology with health division personnel please contact us at 908-788-1351 between 8 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday or email the Hunterdon Health Department.
