Preparedness Trainings

Preparedness staff develops and present training for staff, volunteers, and emergency responders on a wide variety of topics including:

  • Medical Needs Sheltering
  • Points of Distribution (POD) Management
  • Psychological First Aid
  • Bioterrorism agents
  • Communicable disease investigation
  • Communicable and Emerging infectious diseases

The preparedness group also collaborates with outside agencies to sponsor programs, including the FEMA/TEEX National Emergency Response and Rescue Training Center (NERRTC), the American Red Cross, and the New Jersey Department of Health.
