The Hunterdon County Cultural & Heritage Commission supports Art Goes To School, a nonprofit volunteer organization of over 500 members who bring art appreciation sessions to nearly 165,000 elementary school children in the Delaware Valley. The program provides workshops and lectures to train volunteers; there's no need for prior teaching experience or an art education background.

Volunteer meetings take place one Monday each month from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. In-school programs take place in the spring. If you're interested in volunteering for Art Goes to School, call Cultural & Heritage Commission staff at (908) 237-2010 or email cultural@co.hunterdon.nj.us for more information.
