Batty about Bats

Because of Halloween this month, we will focus on the bats for this class. All the species within the County have been struggling with White-nose Syndrome and many are now listed as endangered. We will focus on how bats differ from the other mammals, how bats are a benefit to humans, and what is going on with our species within the County.

Black Bears are the most massive mammal in our wildlife. We will review the history and needs of Black Bears in New Jersey, what to do if you see one, and how to reduce our encounters with them.
