Instructor: Debra Reed, Park Naturalist
Class size: 10 children Learn, create, play games, and explore! Our popular nature clubs will introduce your child to many exciting nature topics. Naturalist Debra Reed will guide the children during hikes as they discover the diverse field, forest, and pond habitats at Deer Path Park. Includes hands-on activities such as science experiments, field games, and take-home craft projects. The children will be able to observe the surprising changes in nature from week to week as we progress through the season. Through our explorations, children will also hone their attention to detail as we observe the colors, shapes, textures, and sounds of the natural world. This is not a drop-off program and children must be accompanied by an adult. Please dress for the outdoors, we strongly recommend layering, old clothes, and sneakers/boots that can get dirty.
