Members
The Board shall not include persons employed by or having a fiduciary interest in any agency funded by the Division to provide mental health services. The Board shall not include a paid or unpaid employee/volunteer of any agency under the county mental health board's jurisdiction or funded by the Division.
Purpose
Oversight of matters related specifically to Mental Health Services in the County. Develops Mental Health Plan, recommends State funding from the Division of Mental Health Services of the New Jersey Department of Human Services with whom it has direct linkage and, evaluates effectiveness of State funded programs.

To provide technical assistance/review in the implementation and preparation of the annual Mental Health Plan. To serve as the ongoing technical advisory body to the Hunterdon County Mental Health Board, the PAC Appointing Authority.

Purpose
To identify gaps in the mental health acute care system and bring them to the attention of the County Mental Health Board and the Division of Mental Health Services. Monitor utilization of acute care resources. Ensure that clients receive the highest quality of care in the most appropriate, least restrictive environment through oversight of the County's Emergency Screening System.
