County Agriculture Development Board (CADB)
The Hunterdon County Board of County Commissioners created the County Agriculture Development Board in 1980 in response to the public's interest in retaining the County's agricultural heritage.
Construction Board of Appeals
The Construction Board hears appeals from the decisions of local government agencies (municipalities) within Hunterdon County by an appellant (i.e. building/home owner or their agent, or counsel representing appellant who is an established corporation).
Cultural & Heritage Commission
The Cultural and Heritage Commission responsibilities include the "development of programs to promote interest and participation in and understanding of local history, arts, cultural values and goals of the community and state by working directly with arts and historical organizations, schools, religious organizations, service clubs, municipal governments and other interested groups and individuals."
Planning Board
The Hunterdon County Planning Board was established by the Board of County Commissioners in 1957 under the New Jersey County and Regional Planning Act of 1935.
Shade Tree Commission
The Commission works with the Hunterdon County Department of Public Works to help maintain and enhance the trees within County road rights-of way as well as provides advice to the Division of Parks and Recreation on trees within parklands.
