All licensed teachers and educational services personnel have been required to complete 100 clock hours of professional development aligned to the Core Curriculum Content Standards every five years to meet standards set forth by the State.

The Mission of Professional Development is:

To ensure that standards-based professional development results in professional growth and enhances student learning.

The Eisenhower Professional Development grants support high quality professional development for school districts and states. Professional development to improve the teaching and learning of science, mathematics, and other content areas are current priorities.
