Walter Foran Boulevard / North Main Street / Park Avenue

A new design has been proposed for the intersections of Park Avenue and Walter Foran Boulevard at North Main Street that will provide for a direct connection between them. It is intended that Park Avenue will be rerouted though the Agway property and realigned at a signalized intersection with Walter Foran Boulevard. This realignment will provide for safer turning movements at North Main Street and will facilitate the movement of traffic from Route 31 to the Hunterdon County Justice Center on Park Avenue.

6/22/2000: The County has partnered with the Borough on an application with NJDOT to obtain discretionary funding for the design and construction of improvements for this portion of the Route 31 project
