The Hunterdon County Planning Board compiled the Databook subsequent to release of Decennial Census information. Periodic updates of the Databook will be posted on the website as new information is made available regarding population estimates, school enrollments, employment, income and indices of real estate, land development activities, and farmland preservation. The bulk of the information in the Databook is extracted from the 2000 Census and from data provided by the New Jersey Department of Labor. The information in the Databook has been assembled to provide a clear presentation of the facts and figures that describe conditions found in Hunterdon County. Comparisons of like data for the County’s municipalities, as well as other counties and the State, serve to illustrate and contrast these conditions with those found elsewhere. The County Planning Board is an affiliate of the New Jersey State Data Center and Business and Industry Data Center of the New Jersey Department of Labor. The mission of the Data Centers, and the over 90 affiliates statewide, is to meet a growing need for access to Census data and other information important to decision makers, planners, students and the business community. Publications of the Databook address this mission through the consolidation and provision of information about Hunterdon County in a convenient format. If you wish to receive a hardcopy of the 2003 Data Book they are available for $5.00 each (plus postage). Contact the County Planning Board at 908-788-1490 or email planning@co.hunterdon.nj.us to request a copy. For additional information contact G. Sue Dziamara, Planning Board Director/State Data Center Affiliate Contact Person or the County Planning Board Hunterdon County Databook
