Information Technology Department
| The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Division, managed by Patricia Leidner was created in 1998 by the Board of Chosen Freeholders.
For the past several years, Hunterdon County has been developing its GIS to serve many of the planning, data management, and constituent
services normally associated with county government.
GIS has grown from a single workstation to multi-departmental use. Having almost all
its framework layers compiled, Hunterdon County has been recognized as a leader among New Jersey counties in the realm of GIS.

The IT Department is responsible for the everyday support needs of the County
as well as the installation and maintenance of hardware and software.
We also work closely with County Departments, Vendors and County Administration
to implement new projects or improve/maintain current projects
and system functions. |
