DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH
H1N1 CLINIC #3 ANNOUNCED FOR NOVEMBER 30th
The county health department’s third H1N1 clinic will be held November 30th at the Route 12 County Complex, Building 1, Flemington, from 4-7 PM. The clinic is open to all 10-24 year olds (healthy as well as those with chronic health conditions), caregivers of infants under 6 months of age, healthcare providers, and to EMS responders. The vaccine is a killed-virus vaccine administered via injection.
This clinic follows Sunday’s successful clinic where over 1,500 doses of vaccine were administered. H1N1 remains in the community and all those at increased risk of complication (the CDC defined priority populations) are encouraged to get vaccinated.
Pre-registration is required for this clinic. Walk-in patients will not be admitted. Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. To pre-register, go to www.co.hunterdon.nj.us/health.htm.
Prior to arrival at the clinic, registered patients should read the Vaccine Information Form titled “What You Need to Know,” and complete and sign the Vaccination Consent Form.
These forms can be found by clicking the link provided in an appointment confirmation e-mail registrants will receive.
The county health department also has H1N1 clinics planned on Thursday, December 3, South Hunterdon Regional High School in West Amwell; Saturday, December 5, at Holland Brook School in Readington Township; Sunday, December 6, at Voorhees High School in Lebanon Township; Friday, December 11, at J.P. Case Middle School in Raritan Township; Sunday, December 13, at Delaware Valley Regional High School; and Saturday, December 19, at North Hunterdon Regional High School.
