Retail Food Establishments Surveillance
and Inspection Program
Retail Food Establishment Program Services are available through the Environmental Health Division Offices located at the Route 12 County Complex in Flemington.
Health inspectors and investigators conduct periodic inspections, plan reviews for new construction and investigate reports of possible food-borne disease outbreaks. On the left is a list of forms and checklists for persons interested in establishing and maintaining a retail food establishment, both permanent and temporary.

 RADIO TIME FOR CONSUMER HEALTH SERVICES
Jim Gallos, head of the Consumer Health Services team, recently used the reach of WDVR-fm radio to share news about food safety and a broad range of consumer health issues. While on the air, Jim promoted the "Food Establishment Inspection Report," an already-popular feature of the county health department's web site that enables site visitors to see the current sanitary ratings of Hunterdon's food - serving establishments. |
