Retail Food Establishment Program Services are available through the Environmental Health Division Offices located at the Route 12 County Complex in Flemington.
Health Inspectors and Investigators conduct periodic inspections of retail food establishments, investigate complaints and reports of possible food-borne disease outbreaks or adulterated foods. Inspectors assigned to this program also review construction and remodeling plans for both new and existing retail food establishments in Hunterdon County. The results of inspections conducted thus far are listed below. These results are updated monthly. Also ether are links to important guidance documents and checklists that can aid an owner/manager of a retail food establishment to maintain safe food handling, plan for future expansion, establish a temporary food concession at a fair or other cultural event and guide them with emergency planning in the event of an unexpected natural or manmade disaster.
