Adequate notice has been given by posting throughout the year a copy of  the notice on Bulletin Boards on the First and Second Floor of the Main Street County Complex, Building #1, Flemington, New Jersey, a public place reserved for such   announcements. A copy was mailed on or before January 02, 2018, to the Hunterdon County Democrat, Star Ledger, Trenton Times, Courier News, TAPinto (online) and  the Express Times, newspapers designated to receive such notices and by filing a copy with the Hunterdon County Clerk.”

IX. FINANCE, Janet R. Previte, CFO

  1. INTRODUCTION - Bond Ordinance #2018-01, providing for various 2018 Capital Improvements, by and in the County of Hunterdon, appropriating $14,225,000 therefore and authorizing the issuance of $13,547,970 bonds or notes to finance part of the costs.
  2. INTRODUCTION - Capital Ordinance #2018-02, providing for the acquisition of lands/properties and development easements for Open Space Preservation and projects by, in and for the County of Hunterdon, appropriating $1,477,900 from the Open Space Trust Fund.
  3. INTRODUCTION - Capital Ordinance #2018-03, providing various capital improvement projects by, in and for the County of Hunterdon and appropriating $2,478,200 from the Capital Improvement Fund.

X. PURCHASING, Raymond E. Rule, Jr.

  1. RESOLUTION - Authorizing the award of County Bid #2018-06, to Furnish and Deliver Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel, to Allied Oil LLC, for Vehicle Services, in an amount not to exceed $1,475,001.00.
  2. RESOLUTION - Approving a Professional Services Agreement, with Cherry Weber & Associates, for professional engineering design services, for the Reconstruction of County Bridge A-45, in Alexandria Township, in an amount not to exceed $182,264.00.

XI. FARMLAND/OPEN SPACE PRESERVATION

  1. RESOLUTION - Approving a Cooperative Open Space grant, upon the recommendation of the Parks and Open Space Advisory Committee, with Raritan Township, for the Francavilla property, Block 43, Lot 2, Raritan Township, in an amount not to exceed $128,535.00.
  2. RESOLUTION - Approving a Nonprofit Open Space grant with the D&R Greenway, upon the recommendation of the Parks and Open Space Advisory Committee, for the Francavilla property, Block 43, Lot 2, Raritan Township, in an amount not to exceed $85,690.00.
  3. RESOLUTION - Approving a Municipal Grant with Frenchtown Borough, upon the recommendation of the Parks and Open Space Advisory Committee, for debt service for the Frenchtown Greenbelt/Nishasackwick Watershed acquisition, in an amount not to exceed $12,766.62.
  4. RESOLUTION - Approving an agreement and grant with the Student Conservation Association to perform trail construction and maintenance within the County Park System, in the amount of $25,000.00.
  5. RESOLUTION - Approving a grant application to the Highlands Open Space Partnership Funding program for the Grochowicz North Property, Block 46, Lot 2 - Bethlehem Township; Block 1, Lot 1.01 - Glen Gardner Borough; and Block 11, Lots 1, 2, & 2.2 - Hampton Borough.

XIV. GRANTS

  1. RESOLUTION - Approving an application for the Low Income Heating and Energy Assistance Program, (LIHEAP), to administrator the program through the County’s Welfare Agency, for the period 10/1/17 through 09/30/18, in the amount of $1,302.
  2. RESOLUTION - Approving an application for the Universal Fund, to process requests for client inquiries for the LIHEAP program, for the period 7/1/17 through 6/30/18, in the amount of $832.

XV. CORRESPONDENCE

  1. Good News Home for Women, requesting permission to hold a Coin Toss, during their 15th Annual Harvest Festival and Craft Fair, on Saturday, September 08, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., at the intersection of County Route 523 and River Road.
  2. Kingwood Rescue Squad, requesting permission to hold a Coin Toss, on September 8 and 9, 2018, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on County Road 519 at two locations north and south of the intersection at US Route 12, in Baptistown.
  3. The National Psoriasis Foundation, requesting use of County roads within the vicinity of Unionville Vineyards (Ringoes, NJ) for the Team NPF Cycle event on Saturday, June 16, 2018, from 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
