"This meeting is being held in accordance with the provisions of the Open Public Meetings Act. Adequate notice has been given by posting throughout the year a copy of the  notice on Bulletin Boards on the First and Second Floor of the Main Street County Complex, Building #1, Flemington, New Jersey, a public place reserved for such announcements. A copy was mailed on or before January 03, 2017, to the Hunterdon County Democrat, Star Ledger, Trenton Times, Courier News, TAPinto (online) and the Express Times,  newspapers designated to receive such notices and by filing a copy with the Hunterdon County Clerk.”

  2. PUBLIC HEARING - Establishment of a CAP Bank.
  3. PUBLIC HEARING -A doption of the 2017 County Budget.
  4. RESOLUTION - Approving the Library Tax for 2017, in the amount of $6,222,193.97.
  5. RESOLUTION - Approving the Open Space, Farmland and Historic Preservation Tax for 2017, in the amount of $6,461,315.88.

VII. PURCHASING, Raymond E. Rule, Jr.

  1. RESOLUTION - Approving Requisition #R7-02691, with Jesco Inc., for an Excavator for Vehicle Services, in the amount of $102,666.59.
  2. RESOLUTION - Approving Requisition #R7-02716, with Power Place, Inc., for a Tractor with Roadside Mowing for Vehicle Services, in the amount of $69,937.20.
  3. RESOLUTION - Approving County Bid #2017-08, for Resurfacing and Drainage Improvements for County Route 579, in the Townships of Franklin and Raritan, with Glen G. Hale, in an amount not to exceed $1,906,559.06.
  4. RESOLUTION - Approving a Purchase Contract for the Estate of Ann Oldakowski, for Block 32, lot 51, in the Township of Bethlehem, in the amount of $60,000.

  3. RESOLUTION - Ross Traphagen appointed temporary, as needed Intern, Human Resources Division, Department of Administrative Services.
  4. RESOLUTION - ScottK rakowski appointed as needed, per-diem Level 1 Fire Instructor, Emergency Management Division, Public Safety and Health Services Division.
  5. RESOLUTION - Approving the appointment of Carol C. Cronheim as a member to the Hunterdon County Cultural and Heritage Commission.
  6. RESOLUTION - Approving a Subordination of Mortgage for Julia Spolarics, to United Wholesale Mortgage.
  7. RESOLUTION - Approving an Agreement with the Hunterdon Symphony to provide a “Music Under the Stars” Concert on June 29, 2017 at 7:00 p.m., at Deer Path Park, in an amount not to exceed $3,000.
  8. RESOLUTION - Approving an Agreement with the Jakes Rackin Country Band (Esteem Entertainment), to provide a “Music Under the Stars” Concert on July 6, 2017 at 7:00 p.m., at Deer Path Park, in an amount not to exceed $1,449.
  9. RESOLUTION - Approving an Agreement with Hunterdon Harmonizers, to provide a “Music Under the Stars” Concert on July 13, 2017, at 7:00 p.m., at Deer Path Park, in an amount not to exceed $3,000.
  10. RESOLUTION - Approving an Agreement with the Vincent Barone (a/d/a Jim Barone), to provide a “Music Under the Stars” concert on July 20, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Deer Path Park, in an amount not to exceed $1,452.

  17. RESOLUTION - Approving a request from the City of Lambertville of an amendment to the Upper Delaware Water Quality Management (WQM) Plan.
  18. RESOLUTION - Approving Change Order #1, County Bid #2016-13, to Furnish and Install Generators at various County Facilities, with Innovative Electrical Contracting, for
    an increase of $15,594.56. (grant funded)
  19. RESOLUTION - Approving the submission of a Resolution as part of the final application to divert/dispose of parkland, 0.039 acres, on Block 56, Lot 1, Point Mountain Park,
    in Lebanon Township, under the Green Acres Program, in conjunction with replacing Inter-County Bridge L-25-W.
  20. RESOLUTION - Approval of the contract for the musical group, Red Baraat, to perform as the headline act at Hunterdon County World Music Day, Oct. 1, 2017, in the amount of $3,500 (funded through the Local Arts Grant program).

  1. RESOLUTION - Approving an agreement with the New Jersey Transit Corporation for the installation and maintenance of a bus shelter, at the LINK Bus Transfer Center at Park Avenue and Capner Street, in the Borough of Flemington, for the Hunterdon County Transportation System (The LINK).

XI. GRANTS

  1. RESOLUTION - Approving the renewal of a grant with New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services for the Local Core Capacity for Public Health Emergency Preparedness, in the amount of $269,673.

XII. PROCLAMATIONS/RECOGNITION

  1. PROCLAMATION - Recognizing Charles Vitale, Boy Scout Troop 288, for attaining the designation of Eagle Scout.
  2. PROCLAMATION - Recognizing Dionel Esteves, Boy Scout Troop 65, for attaining the designation of Eagle Scout.
  3. PROCLAMATION - R ecognizing May 2017 as Older Americans Month in Hunterdon.

XIII. CORRESPONDENCE

  1. Flemington Fire Department, requesting permission to sell alcohol during the Corn and Tomato Festival, at the Court Street Park, on Sunday, August 06, 2017, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., to benefit the Fire Department.
  2. Rotary Club of Flemington, requesting permission to place two Porta- Johns at the Main Street County Complex parking area, during the 9th annual Bark in the Park, on Sunday, June 04, 2017.
  3. High Bridge Emergency Squad requesting permission to hold a Coin Toss on June 3, 2017 and October 4, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., on 95 W. Main Street (County  Route 513). Rain Dates: June 4& October 5, 2017.
  4. Berkshire Hathaway Home Services NJP, Miracles Music Festival, a fundraiser for the Sunshine Kids Foundation, a charity for enjoyment of life for children with cancer,  requesting permission to use the South County Park, on Saturday, October 07, 2017, (1) extending the Park hours through midnight; (2) request to sell alcoholic beverages and extend consumption to open seating on the lawn in front of the stage and the VIP tent; (3) requesting to have food trucks, two beverage vendors; (4) to have security, an  ambulance and fire truck on site; and allow for people to park.
  5. Garden State Underwater Recovery Unit, Inc. requesting permission to hold a Coin Toss on Saturday, June 17, 2017 (rain date of June 24) and Saturday, December 16, 2017  (snow date of December 23) at the intersection of Route 519 and Bridge Street in Milford from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  6. Readington Township Memorial Day Parade Committee requesting permission to use a portion of County Route 523, between the King’s parking lot and the Municipal building, on Monday, May 29, 2017.
  7. East Whitehouse Fire Department requesting permission to hold a Coin Toss at the intersection of Route 523 and Route 22 on Saturday, July 29, 2017 (Rain Date: Sunday,  July 30, 2017).

  8. A request for a letter of support for Prevention Resources , Inc. (formerly Hunterdon Prevention Resources) in its grant proposal to establish an Opioid Overdose Recovery  Program (OORD) in Hunterdon County, as funded by the New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
