POLLING LOCATIONS

1. The program shall provide for annual contributions to a deferred income account for each active volunteer member that meets the eligibility criteria and in accordance with the schedule adopted by the Borough of Califon.
2. The proposed maximum annual contribution for an active volunteer is $550.00
3. The estimated cost of the program has been calculated as follows:
   1. For regular annual service: $25,850.00 per year.

1. Provide funding through a limited, conservation tax in an amount not to exceed $0.03 per $100.00 of assessed property value on real property.
2. Said funds shall be designated sole for:
   1. Acquisition of lands for conservation, recreation and farmland preservation purposes;
   2. Maintenance and development of lands acquired for conservation, recreation and farmland purposes;
   3. Preservation of historic properties, including the acquisition of such properties for historic preservation purposes;
   4. Payment of debt service on indebtedness issued or incurred by a local government for any of the purposes lied above.
3. Establish periodic five year reviews by the Borough Council on the continuation/termination of funding the "Open Space Preservation Trust Fund"
4. Provide that any property, development rights or easements purchased through the "open Space Trust Fund" cannot be sold unless replaced by lands, rights or easements of like or greater value acquired through sources other than the trust fund.
