Volunteer Guardianship One-On-One Inc. is the only non-profit agency within the State of New Jersey that recruits, trains, supports and monitors individuals who wish to serve as court-appointed volunteer guardians. Such persons are needed in cases when a person with diminished capacity has no available family member or friend to serve as a surrogate decision maker. As such, the agency plays a vital role in the lives of those who are most vulnerable, and who would otherwise have no voice.
