Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the County of Hunterdon, on November 23, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. prevailing time in the Second Floor Freeholders Meeting Room, 71 Main Street, Administration Bldg. #1, Flemington, New Jersey 08822 2900, at which time and place bids will be opened and read in public for
DISPATCH FUNCTION OF HUNTERDON
COUNTY CONSOLIDATED TRANSIT SYSTEM
BIDS WILL BE RECEIVED BY MAIL", (Hunterdon County will not be responsible for Bid Packages not arriving at the time and place designated), Specifications, Instructions to Bidders and Proposal Forms may be obtained at the Purchasing Department, Third Floor, 71 Main Street, Administration Bldg. #1, Flemington, New Jersey 08822 2900, during regular business hours. Bids will be on the Proposal Forms provided in the manner designated therein and addressed to the County of Hunterdon, Office of the Clerk of the Board, First Floor, 71 Main Street, Administration Bldg. #1, P.O. Box 2900, Flemington, New Jersey 08822 2900, and clearly marked on the outside "SEALED BID 2004-51" CENTRAL DISPATCH FUNCTION. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% (Ten Percent) of the total bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 payable to the Treasurer, Hunterdon County.
Bidders are required to comply with requirements of PL 1975 Chapter: 127. (N.J.A.C. 17:27)
The Board of Chosen Freeholders reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the Proposal received and to accept the bids which in their judgment will serve the best interest of the County.
