NOTICE TO BIDDERS
COUNTY BID #2001-06

Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the County of Hunterdon, on February 22, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. prevailing time in the Second Floor Meeting Room, Route 12 County Complex, Flemington, New Jersey 08822-2900, at which time and place bids will be opened and read in public for:

APPLICATION OF TRAFFIC STRIPES AND MARKINGS FOR COUNTY ROUTES 513, 514, 517, 523, 579, 613, 629, 635 AND 639 IN VARIOUS MUNICIPALITIES.

A NON-REFUNABLE DEPOSIT OF $25.00 WILL BE REQUIRED FOR EACH SET OF SPECIFICATIONS AND PLANS.

BIDS WILL BE RECEIVED BY MAIL", (Hunterdon County will not be responsible for Bid Packages not arriving at the time and place designated), Specifications, Instructions to Bidders and Proposal Forms may be obtained at the Purchasing Department, Second Floor, Route 12 County Complex, Building #1, Flemington, New Jersey 08822-2900, during regular business hours. Bids will be on the Proposal Forms provided in the manner designated therein and addressed to the County of Hunterdon, Office of the Clerk of the Board, Route 12 County Complex, 2nd Floor, Building #1, PO Box 2900, Flemington, New Jersey 08822-2900, and clearly marked on the outside "SEALED BID" APPLICATION OF TRAFFIC STRIPES AND MARKINGS ON VARIOUS COUNTY ROUTES. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% (Ten Percent) of the total bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 payable to the Treasurer, Hunterdon County.

Bidders are required to comply with requirements of PL l975 Chapter: 127. (N.J.A.C. 17:27)

The Board of Chosen Freeholders reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the Proposal received and to accept the bids which in their judgement will serve the best interest of the County.
