Point Mountain: Blue Trail. The Blue trail is a circular trail that is divided by Point Mountain Road. The downstream portion of the trail winds through forest and a small open field. The trail crosses an old stone pile established when the area was farmed. There are many points of access to the river. Along the upstream portion, large boulders and Sycamore trees line the edge of the river and the trail. Plenty of shade and resting areas can be found along the river. The high diversity of trees in this area includes oaks, maples, black birch, and tulip trees. The Orange trail connects at the eastern most point of the Blue trail.
