back Scout Creek Next

Scout Creek. This spring-fed creek flows through the gorge, but also influences the habitat around the gorge. Moist, cool air is brought with the running water and maintains a different climate than the rest of the hillside. The creek was named by a local Boy Scout troop, who put the first trail in the park.
