Welcome to the Musconetcong Gorge Preserve.  This 523-acre section of the Musconetcong River Reservation was originally owned by the Warren Glen Paper Mill.  The mill, located adjacent to the park, started production in 1873 and closed in 2006.  The paper plant produced heavyweight paper by taking wood pulp, chopping it up, and rehydrating it.
