back to index Norther Eudeilinia back to index

Northern Eudeilinia (Eudeilinia herminiata).  Although this moth’s wings are smooth, it is a member of the hooktip moth family (Depranidae).  White wings have dotted brown lines which can vary between individuals.  Larvae eat the leaves of dogwood trees, and adults are found in late spring and early summer.
