Sycamore Tree. The Sycamore is a wetland obligate species needing barren soil to get established. It is recognized by its bark, which has exfoliating plate-like scales exposing large white areas. They normally grow 75 to 100 feet high, but may reach up to 150 feet.  They have a life span of 250 to 600 years.
