Back GARLIC MUSTARD Next

Garlic Mustard (Alliaria officinalis). This is a major invasive wildflower imported from Europe. Since deer do not eat it, it is often the only plant on our forest floor. It can be recognized by its somewhat triangular and sharply toothed leaves. When crushed, the leaves give off an odor of garlic. It is commonly found along roadsides and the edge of woods.
