Hedge Bindweed (Calystegia sepium)Hedge Bindweed is a vine in the Morning Glory Family, which numbers about 1200 species widely distributed in the tropical and temperate climates. The flower blooms in the early morning, and by about noon it has closed to form a slender tube. The one exception is the moonflower, which opens at night (Forest Preserve District of Cook County).
