American Holly (Ilex opaca). This evergreen is slow-growing and will reach a height of 30 feet and a width of 20 feet.  When a male holly tree is growing nearby, the female tree produces red berries which are toxic to humans and some animals.  The fruits are, however, eaten by numerous songbirds, bobwhite, and wild turkey.
