Hunterdon County Arboretum

Giant White Oak (Quercus alba). White Oaks are one of the largest trees in forests in Eastern North America. This tree is probably about 200 years old. Native American Indians made flour from its acorns. Many kinds of wildlife feed on the acorns as well.
