Fox Grape (Vitis labrusca)This is a high-climbing liana vine. Leaves are rounded in outline and heart-shaped at base; 3-lobed, toothed, with dense whitish to reddish felt beneath. Fruits have about 20 purple-black (or amber white) grapes in a cluster around September to October. Fox Grape uses tendrils (A twisting, root-like structure that a vine uses to grab onto trees and branches for support) to grab onto branches or bark of larger plants.
