Pond. The pond attracks many types of wildlife. Frogs are abundant in spring. Deer tracks can sometimes be spotted in the mud along the edge. There are numerous holes along the trail, probably from groundhogs. A bat house was put up on a tree by the pond to encourage the bats to live near it, since they help keep the mosquito population low.
