Mountain mint. Mountain mint (Pycnanthemum) growing in a field.  There are several species of mountain mint, all with clusters of small white flowers that usually have small purple dots.  Mints have square stems and opposite leaves.  Mountain mint flower heads remain throughout the winter, and the plant is fragrant all year long. CLICK IMAGE FOR LARGER VIEW
