back Common Mullein Next

Common mullein (Verbascum thapsus) is a biennial (two-year) plant that forms a basal rosette of fuzzy leaves the first year and a stalk of yellow flowers up to eight feet high the second year.  Although it looks a lot like lambs’ ear, mulleing grows in the wild, while lambs’ ear is an ornamental plant not found on its own.
