2006 HISTORICAL ESSAY CONTEST
The Most Historic Place
In My Town
MINI-HISTORIAN
OF THE YEAR
Winners of the 17th annual The Most Historic Place in My Town essay contest were invited to the May 09, 2006 Freeholders' meeting at 5:30 pm to receive awards presented by Freeholder Director Nancy Palladino and Cultural & Heritage Commission Chairperson Stephanie B. Stevens.
Jake-Dylan Mitchell Ressler of Tewksbury Elementary School received the GRAND PRIZE in the Commission's 2006 Historic Essay Contest, which is held each spring to commemorate National Historic Preservation Week. Jake-Dylan's essay entitled "The Oldwick General Store" was chosen from among the essays submitted this year.
