| THE COMMISSION consists of nine members appointed to five-year terms by the Hunterdon County Board of Chosen Freeholders. In addition to ten Commission meetings, dozens of committee meetings are held annually. Each Commissioner chairs one of the standing committees and serves on one or two others. Since the Commission's mission is both cultural and heritage, Commissioners who are predominately historians or artists work on projects in their given field of expertise, while also serving on grants, budgets and nominating/personnel committees. |
