Membership is open to
- Public and private providers who provide services in the County for those who are homeless and/or have other emergency basic needs;
- Consumers of human services;
- Other concerned community members and government representatives.
Voting
Each provider agency is entitled to one vote. Each agency must name a primary representative to the committee, and can designate a maximum of two alternates. Multiple individuals from the agency may attend meetings and participate in discussions, but when voting, only the representative (or one designated alternate) may vote. |

One representative from a non-profit organization which is engaged in land preservation in Hunterdon County, i.e. land trust/conservancy, to serve a two-year term;
Two alternate members appointed from the public, to each serve a two-year term. (The initial appointments shall be made: 1 for a 1 year term and 1 for a two year term)

The Committee shall consist of not less than five (5) and not more than fifteen (15) members, at least 51% of whom shall consist of consumers of transportation services (i.e., senior citizens and disabled residents) or their representatives. (N.J.A.C. 16:78-3.4)
Individuals who are employed by the County in a department directly affiliated with a Committee/Council shall not be eligible for membership.
