Though not a new type of computer scam, “Tech Support” and “FakeAV” web-based fraud are on the increase and victimizing users. Maybe you’ve experienced a pop-up window that appears to be your antivirus app while browsing the web. Ever see a Windows Error Message that doesn’t seem quite right? These messages may or may not be authentic. But how can you tell the difference?
