Renovations to Public Safety Facility |
- March 20, 2006: With the award of the construction contract, DeSapio Construction broke ground on the new addition to the Communications Center on March 20, 2006. The $3.8 million dollar renovation and expansion will include a new Dispatch room, new Emergency Operations Center and renovations to the existing building and physical plant
- October 13, 2006: The footings are poured and the structural steel is expected to be installed next week. It is anticipated that the new dispatch room will be ready to begin the process of equipment installation sometime in May of 2007
- October 30, 2006: Structural steel installation begins
- December 6, 2006: The concrete floor for the addition is being pumped by a concrete pump truck
- December 18, 2006 - Walls are going up
- January 10, 2007 - Interior construction begins
- February, 2007 to July 2007 - construction photos
- September, 2007 - New Dispatch Room photos
- February 2008 - New Dispatch Room, Server Room and Kitchen
- April 2009 - Construction renovations of the Administrative Offices, Technical Area, and Front Reception Area
