INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS

 

As per Hunterdon County Facility Use Policy: Completed valid Certificates of Liability Insurance Coverage must be filed with the Hunterdon County Emergency Services Training Center prior to any course attendance and drill applications being approved.

This information is also located in our online registration Terms & Conditions, please read and agree prior to submitting a course registration.

The following insurance requirements MUST BE MET and proof thereof given to the County prior to submitting a course registration:

A CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, NAMING THE COUNTY OF HUNTERDON, PO BOX 2900, FLEMINGTON, NJ 08822 AS CERTIFICATE HOLDER/ADDITIONAL INSURED.

THE CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE MUST INCLUDE:

  • The Commercial General Liability:  $1,000,000 Occ./$2,000,000 Agg. minimum
  • The Automobile Liability MUST be: $1,000,000 minimum
  • Workers Compensation with: $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 Coverage
  • Excess Liability, if available
The Description of Operations section on the COI MUST read as follows:  

"The County of Hunterdon, including all elected and appointed officials, all employees and volunteers, all boards, commissions and/or authorities and their board members, employees, and volunteers."
