The Hunterdon County Department of Public Safety was created in 2005 as a move to consolidate the Public Safety services provided by the County. The Department consists of the County Communications System (9-1-1), the Office of Emergency Management, Office of the County Fire Marshal, Emergency Services Training Center, and Homeland Security.
The mission of Hunterdon County’s Department of Public Safety is to provide a wide range of preventative, protective, and emergency services aimed at maintaining the quality of life for the general public. |
